Da in einem anderen Thread Schopenhauer gewünscht wurde, habe ich beschlossen demnächst ein paar Schopenhauerbände zu behandeln.

Sehr gut. In der Philosphie Ecke fehlt noch so einiges.
Die Werke von Kant wären auch nicht schlecht.

Hab folgende Bücher in Arbeit:

Ich habe ne Quelle für praktisch alle noch fehlenden Jules Verne gefunden. (Hartleben-Verlag) Okay, sind PDfs und daher ein bisschen schwieriger umzusetzen, aber ich bleib dran. Ich hab also noch jede Menge Gerstäckers und die Vernes zu machen ! Werde das gleich angehen, wenn ich DHDH fertig hab!

Noch gelten diese Werke quasi als gemeinfrei - zumindest solange bis sich dann evtl. ein Urheber zu dem Werk bekennt bzw. zugeordnet werden kann. Die Verwerter wollen dies gern ändern und machen seit Monaten Front dagegen.

Hack? Noch flüssig benutzbar? Klingt so, als wäre das doch keine so gute Idee. Werden epubs etwa langsamer, wenn die Kapitel mehr werden? Krieg und Frieden wäre zweistufig, aber am Ende sicherlich knappe 260 Kapitel.

PS.: Hab's grade mit einer groben Version probiert (über Python Skript aus Gutenberg, werd für das die DL-Version eine andere Textquelle wegen dem Copyright verwenden), da kamen 257 Kapitel raus (einstufig), das Buch ließ sich wunderbar lesen, das Inhaltsverzeichnis öffnen dauerte ein wenig, aber imo nicht schlimm.

Ja, je mehr Kapitel im Inhaltverzeichnis eines mit Calibre erzeugten ePubs sind, destso langsamer wird der Zugriff auf das Inhaltsverzeichnis und das erste Öffnen des ePubs.
Hier gibts ein HowTo mit Perlskripten um das nachträglich zu beschleunigen.

Einige Vernes, die ich noch nicht gemacht habe, gibts auch bei Zeno, falls die PDFs sich nicht gescheit extrahieren lassen...

Mal eine Frage, ich habe mir überlegt die Wahlprogramme einzelner Parteien als eBook zur Verfügung zu stellen, vlt. liest sie ja doch der ein oder andere um sich eine Meinung zu bilden. Ich bin mir nur nicht sicher, wie das rechtlich aussieht.
