I had to vote for the blue one, next to the fish. The univ where I work doesn't recognize this as a holiday. We don't get anything but the major ones, not even Xmas eve and New Year's eve. Bah!

I don't like my days to be "off"; though sadly far too many are off and very smelly.

Holidays, on the other hand, those are definitely not off....

Its "Presidents Day" here.

We used to have Washingtons birthday, Jeffersons birthday....and actually have those days off.

Then someone decided to combine them, and regardless of when their birthdays were, just put them on a Monday so we could have a three day holiday.

Today is Presidents Day in the U.S. A federal holiday. Being in the government sector I get it off.

ha, thanks. wow, that's a nice holiday. we don't get any holidays off for the presidents (although sarko seems to think very highly of himself, perhaps he'll make his birthday into a holiday. but it would only be for upper management or people earning the most money
