Marryat, Frederick: Snarleyyow v1 7 jan 2009
This book contains some extremely funny moments. Most of the characters, including the dog, are very exaggerated, but drawn with the exquisite pen of one of Britain's greatest authors. The dog is more than a bit of a nuisance and numerous attempts are made to get rid of him or even to terminate him. All to no avail: he always just turns up again, no matter how dire the treatment he has just received. It takes place at a time when the Dutch exercised great control in English affairs.
Have fun. Ravenne's cover's great as ever!
