eBook Library 2.5.00.09170

I run into this on a Chinese fansite. It seems that Sony has announced a new version of eBook Library:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/sup...pl?info_id=359

However I couldn't find a download link on sony.com. Also I was wondering if this is the version shipped with PRS-700 or not.

Thanks! That's very helpful!

I don't know how I could have missed this one. I did a quite search in the forum and it seems that people haven't discussed about it despite that it has been out for a while? Is it good? I'm kind of loosing confidence on Sony's software...

Oops - that's what I get for posting so early in the morning, before I'm fully awake.

Oh yes, RCR. There is now S/M/L/XL/XXL. I guess this is for the 700.

Really? Sure, I see the new sizes in the new PC software after it updated itself, but this was no firmware upgrade. Didn't appear to do anything to my 505.

Great, 64-bit Vista support just in time before I get my PRS-505.

Too bad if you own a PRS-500 though - support was specifically left out for 64-bit

Ah, cool. I was tempted to install it from the CD that came with my 700, but didn't want to mess with what would happen when I returned the 700. I kept checking, but never saw 2.5 available for download...

There is a warning in red ink on the download page that the upgrade is only for the US and Canada only. I wonder if this is just a legal disclaimer or if different eReaders are shipped to the UK and this ugrade will blow them up or something.
