Oh, ok. I object less to crass commercial exploitation and more to trying to extend copyright to infinity and beyond (whoops, that was a Disney™ phrase).

Can you get any more crass than Asterix chips? (or crisps, depending on who you ask). I wonder if they sell Obelix condoms?

and technically, astérix theme park is not *in* paris, and as acidzebra said, while they may be exploiting the original bd for all they're worth, they are not (to my knowledge) trying to extend copyright to infinity and beyond (oh noes, is disney going to sue us for copyright infringement there ? or can we argue fair use ?). so they may be a little icky, but they're not actually evil incarnate.
