First Eric Frank Russell Book now available on Fictionwise

The good news - the first Eric Frank Russell novel is available on fictionwise as an e-book. It is Next Of Kin. Since the executor of the estate had been adamant about not releasing any of his works as e-books, this is rather of a breakthru.

The bad news - It's available only on secure e-reader and secure .lit, and the list price is outrageous - $15.99.

Well, as he said in the book - Baloney Baffles Brains....

I saw it in the science fiction category, by listing the new FW releases. It is currently #3 on the list, and the cross-references are not yet hooked up. Bon Appetit.

MobiPocket only sell MobiPocket format books. Ralph said:

so I very much doubt that he meant MobiPocket.

I've looked on FictionWise and similarly can't find it.

Since it't not hooked up to the cross reference database, here is exactly how to find it. (No offense intended to anybody for doing the "Run, Spot, Run".)

Go to Fictionwise home page. Click on the science fiction catagory on the left. The page will have DISPLAY: Best sellers. Change that to FW Release Date. Click Go. There will be a changed list. Next Of Kin will be #3 on the list. (At least it's currently on my screen at #3).
