There are an assortment of such things out there. Some are available in ebook format, and others are intended for reading on line. Free unless indicated:

Aeon SF magazine. Short fiction and articles, for sale at Fictionwise
http://www.aeonmagazine.com/index.html

FLURB - online webzine of "Astonishing Tales", edited by Rudy Rucker
http://www.flurb.net/

Hub SF - weekly UK SF periodical, available in PDF and Mobipocket format
http://www.hub-mag.co.uk/

Internet Review of SF - news and commentary
http://www.irosf.com/

Infinity Plus - UK online SF and articles site
http://www.infinityplus.co.uk/

Strange Horizons - weekly UK online SF periodical
http://www.strangehorizons.com/index.shtml

There are doubtless more. The above are simply links close to hand.

Heh. Gotta love a new SF zine where I know two people listed on the cover. I could wish for publication is a format other than PDF...

EDIT: Where I know one of the people. There are two people writing SF as James Hartley, and the one in Concept SF is the one I don't know...

Incidentally, both I and someone from the British SF Association pinged the editor. As a result, Concept SF will now be offered in Mobipocket format as well as PDF.

I also pointed the editor at Calibre to produce Sony versions, and recommended he stop by MobileRead for information.

I just had a look at the Mobipocket edition for issue #2. It's rather a poorly made edition. The table of contents exist, but do not have any actually links. The only goto link is first page which is incorrect as it brings us back to the cover page. Basically, whoever made this doesn't know about the format and how to do a proper version.

Issue #3 in Mobipocket format is a mess. Two covers, no proper ToC, we get a mix of -- and em dash. If you've ever seen NCIS, then a good head slap is in order.

Absolutely. Should have asked the experts!. Even the in-magazine index has no working links. Such a wasted occasion.
