When using them mostly for my arms almost every day they last me a couple of months. In summer they last a bit shorter than in winter because they melt easier in warm weather.

My only problem with coconut oil (it feels great on the skin - light) is that my shih tzu likes it too. Any time I put it on, he insists on licking it all off of me. The stuff is edible, so it isn't a problem. But I want it to *stay* on me!! Some other lotions don't please him, so they stay on. Sheesh!

Winter is my skin's nightmare too. I found a recipe for whipped body butter containing coconut oil, almond oil, and shea butter, but haven't had a chance to get the ingredients to try it.
