Giorgio130,

Nice Hack! Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I love that you stick with stuff until you figure out a way to do it, you've been chipping away at the multi touch for a while. Good for you.

giorgio130, you are my absolute HERO. Works perfectly on my (early-model) Glo.

On the other hand, I have now lost my excuse to upgrade to an Aura, so.

I'm not bothered by the flash personally - but you go, anyway I know others might like it.

Nice!
But something is weird with this kernel: if I enable the light using its button, light icon comes up but the light remains off.
If I change the brightness (with multitouch or otherwise), it fixes itself until I switch it off and back on.

Halp?

It could be the 1% bug - did you notice if this happens only when the intensity is at 1%? Did it never happen to you before? It seems strange that this package is the cause, I touched nothing about the light. It happens to me as well on the glo, but it did with the original kernel as well.

Ohh yes indeed, light needs to be at minimum.

Hmmm good question actually. I do remember that bug, but I think it only happened in some older firmware. And even then, only applied waking from sleep. Never when pressing the button.

Strange isn't it.

When using the button? If yes then it looks like I've never seen the *proper* 1% bug, and what I saw was some mild version of it

[edit] OOOOH this thing just fixed itself, the button now works with 1% for some reason. How strange >_<

OMG, this is fabulous! Works perfectly on my Kobo Aura HD (and doesn't interfere with the night mode hack I'd previously installed). Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Please confirm if this will enable pinch to zoom for images in side loaded epubs?

This is fabulous! Pinch to zoom works better than double tap on images. Thank you so much!

Yes, Shellshock, works very well. I better add, side loaded kepub, I haven't tried epub.

I only use epubs, not kepubs. Does pinch to zoom work with epubs?

I just loaded an epub to try it and couldn't get it to work; double tap doesn't work either for me on it. I use kepubs exclusively for their handling of footnotes.
