Fixed. I wonder if I'll ever convert my price code in calibre into sterling instead of dollars. My Baen purchases are still in dollars, and are likely to remain so.

But the price is very good ! Even Amazon is higher. Thanks a lot !!

Bfisher, it's at Kobo, so you can get it with a discount coupon, at least. Well, assuming that a coupon works with it.

Probably put in a prior list, but for newbees, if you put "free science fiction kindle books" into the search engine at Amazon, you can get quite a few free science fiction including Andre Norton and David Drake. A lot of the other authors I do not know, so can't tell you the quality although quite a few are rated 4 star. Just be careful that it does indeed have 0.0 for a price.

On the negative side, you'll have more books in your TBR that you don't have time to read.

Living in the US, I have no REAL idea if those are good prices or not, but I can endorse the books themselves! Excellent books! If I recall, there was a third book in the series that I didn't think was up to the standards of the first two. But I endorse the first two without reservation!

About $1.90 and $2.90. Very good for such good books. (I paid $10.49 for The Ghost Brigades, back in 2008!)

While not Science Fiction or Fantasy I believe that this might be of interest to a number of people.

Master & Commander by Patrick O'Brian is reduced to $1.50-$1.99 at both kobo and amazon. Watch out there are other more expensive versions. On special until the 10th.

Pam uploads a draft, marked as can be edited, to Google doc.

copy edits can then be done by anyone (there are instructions to use %% and various colours) and Pam does an auto compare with the original and makes such changes as she agrees with.
