So why wouldn't one buy an Ultrabook instead? The display is only real difference and even there is nice FullHD options available.

Hmm, I wonder if could run the OS in VirtualBox, and how well it works with bad internet. Even Win 8 has issue on train when you don't have a decent connection at times...
