Formats showing incorrectly

I have a number of books which are showing up as being in multiple formats when, in fact, only one format exists. It's probable that the other format did exist but has been deleted however it still shows up as though it's there.

Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of the extra format licting?

Do a Check Library (click on the arrow next to the library, select Library Maintenance and then Check Library).

You should only get this error if you removed a book without going via Calibre. Calibre assumes it is in total control of its library folder so if you want things to remain consistent you should remove unwanted formats using the Calibre GUI.
