Exclamation How do I find a repeating bug ?
When I edit the title of a book and then the author and I do this operation 2 or 3 times calibre crashes.

It happens with no particular book. How could I find the problem ?

No answer, but a couple of questions.

Where are you editing this information? Is it in the Book Listing or through the Edit Metadata window?

If you're using the Edit Metadata window, are you editing the author and title at the same time? Or are you doing one, saving and then doing the other?

Do you get an error message before crashing? Or are you immediately crashing to the desktop (CTD)?

I am editing the informations in the book listing.

I get an error message but it is not enough informative. As far I remember it is the GUI component crashing.

Thanks. I was wondering if there might have been a write behind cached copy issue that can happen with slower storage.

Maybe you have found the problem. Adding Calibre to the exclusion list of Roboform lowered the problem near to zero.
