I år er det hundre år siden Hjalmar Johansen døde. I anledningen legger jeg ut hans egen beskrivelse av ferden, først med Fram, siden kun han og Nansen over isen mot polen og så tilbake til en kummerlig overvintring på Franz Josefs Land.
Hjalmar Johansen skriver på en mere nøktern, mere jordnær måte enn sin sjef, noe som i mine øyne gjør hans beretning enda mere leseverdig enn Nansens.
