To the best of my knowledge, that's normal with epubs.
You can turn it off: 1) Go to Settings 2) Go to Reading Settings 3) Go to page 2 4) Remove the X in the box ADDED: Your image IS showing. Don

“How to Write the First 3 Paragraphs of YOUR Indie Novel” - by Max Waxwelp 1) Always write 3 sentences of exposition; 2) now create some dialogue, preferably no more than 2 sentences; and 3) make certain the dialogue is either inane or humorous. Example: “Bob, I did not know you wore yellow suspenders,” Sally remarked. “Gee, Sally, those are not suspenders. I am wearing yellow underwear today,” Bob revealed. The dialogue above will help produce at least 100 more pages of dialogue. Last edited by Dr. Drib; 01-28-2013 at 07:41 PM. |

The exact same thing happened to me.
![]() When I realized this (some days later when all I was doing was looking through all the menus, etc.), I was surprised to find that the page numbers could be made to disappear! Don

I had page number randomly re-enable itself on me yesterday when I changed books, very annoying as I thought it was a fault with the screen!
