Question Help - Operating System - GONE!
My son who is 14 rooted his Kindle Fire and then reverted it back to factory settings and now has no operating system. Does anyone know how to get the operating system back on his Kindle Fire? It does not recognize itself as a Kindle so there are no folders on it to recover to. Help would be GREATLY appreciated the Geek Squad was perplexed to say the least!

Can you please tell us if there's a boot screen of some sort that pops up? And specifically which model Kindle Fire you have? I'd like to check and see if you at least have a recovery flashed to it so I can help you to redo the latest update.
