Calibre PDF output margins - need more!

I like to convert my Kindle books to PDF so I can make handwritten annotations in the margins, just like I do with real print books. The problem is, the PDFs it converts them to have no margins at the top, bottom, left, or right. How can I fix that?

Easy... Go to Page Setup on conversion options and set the margins as desired (72 point per inch).

Thanks Clayton. I tried that several times. No matter what numbers I put there, the margins are unchanged and nonexistent. Something I'm doing wrong??

Odd, it solved the problem for me. The only other default preferences I changed were associated with font size:

* Look & Feel -> Base Font
* PDF Output -> Default font size
* PDF Output -> Monospace font size

Give that a try...

OK, turns out, each time I converted after changing the margins like you said, then pulling up the PDF to see if it worked, it was pulling up the original file with no margins. Even when I deleted the PDF file first. I had to remove the original kindle book from my library completely, then start over. And it worked. Thanks!
