Crowded carousel!!

Is there a way to get newly purchased books from Amazon to go to my cloud instead of automatically downloading to my carousel? I know that they are in my cloud, but I want to know if I can stop them from downloading to the carousel. I have the Kindle Fire HD 7"........Thanks!

You can delete the icon for the book from the carousel. The carousel is merely a list of shortcut icons to apps, books, videos, websites, etc. Just touch and hold on any carousel item you want to delete and when the popup menu is displayed touch Delete from Carousel.

Done that way & they stay on the Fire IF you truley want to remove hit Delete fro Device they show in the cloud

You could download kindle for pc, or other electronic device and send the book there. That way it shows up on your cloud, but not the carousel. I have kindle app everywhere, lol, phone, pc, two tablets, and for some reason amazon wants to send everything to my phone. That phone seldom does auto downloads for the kindle app. Therefore, everything sent to my "droid 2" goes to the cloud.

Not sure why that isn't one of the choices when you buy a book.
