Kindle Fire Not showing all music files
When connected to computer, I transferred music files to the Kindle music folder via usb. The files did transfer to Kindle music folder as seen on the computer. However, many do not show up on the Kindle itself when opening the music, device folder. Any suggestions? |

What file types are they?

They are MP3 files. When the Kindle is connected to computer, all the
files show up in the Kindle Fire Music folder - I can actually play them from this folder. But, with Kindle disconnected from computer, not all music files appear on device. (I have plenty of space left for additional files) Thank you |

Try deleting and re-adding them. It sounds like they weren't copied in correctly, not your fault, just computers will do that sometimes.

Use Windows Media Player 11 to sync from the PC to the Kindle Fire HD or copy them to your Amazon Cloud drive and then download them to the KFHD.
Copying them directly may not work properly. My Windows 7 PC with WMP 11 sees the KFHD as a Music Player and won't allow direct copying of Music or Pictures. |
