I bought my wife a Nook Color for Christmas. After charging it up and trying to figure it out, I soon decided I needed some help from people like you. I have had PC's, an iMac, and several cell phones including an iPhone but this Nook has already made me wish I hadn't made the purchase. I'm hoping I'm just worn out from all the Christmas hassle. I'll put it away till tomorrow when I have a chance to review all the comments in this forum. Thanks in advance for your help and support.

Duh!
For the sake of all other "newbies" like me, I finally realized that I needed to download the latest Nook software on my wife's Nook Color. Many of the problems I had have disappeared. The version on her Nook must have been really old. It's hard to understand how B&N became so successful when the Nook first came out. They really need to include a note with every Nook advising to download the newest version. Now, all I have to do is to figure out the best places to go to get my wife's favorite books. Thanks again for this great forum.
