I wasn't interested in the actual selection that month so read Idle Thoughts instead. It was a good read, mostly. There were a couple sections that I ended up skimming, but overall it was good.

I thought Persuasion would be one of the favourites of this vote. Looks like I'm going to get to read my first Austen. I always thought it would be P&P, but I was obviously wrong.

The devil might be in the details, but the details are a slog for me. I tried not to skim, but failed. I can't cope with 15 tedious pages planning a walk before anyone takes a step!! Oh well, there are plenty of authors I can't manage without skimming, Austen is certainly in good company.
