I didn't have one, so I'm doing pretty good. I'm up to 88 books read for the year (I read 80 last year) and have started two more; it would be nice to finish them and have a nice round 90 to use for my benchmark next year.

I don't have a goal for this year but so far I've read 680 ebooks, including approximately 100 short stories and novellas. I didn't keep track of DTB's but only 10 or so.

I chose that I'm coming down the home stretch, though in a way I'm already passed the finish line, and in another way I probably won't reach the finish line.

I've passed my page count and number of books goal, and that was really the meat of my 2012 goal. But I also made a 2012 TBR list that was meant to be symbiotic with the page count goal but didn't quite work out that way. So I still have about five titles left to read.

I have 19 books to go - which according to the poll is "just around the corner" but which I think is "go on without me".

19 books in 2 weeks? An average book takes me about 8 hours (which is not fast but not super-slow either) so:

19 * 8 = 152

13 days to go so:

152 / 13 = 11.69

12 hours a day reading is "just around the corner"?

Someone's either a much much faster reader or has nothing but free time (and insomnia).
