Frome is garbage. It's a classic example of bad writing and an utterly depressing mess.

Yes, I have read it and it's awful.

I've read both, Ethan Frome was among the first Gutenberg books I read with the "read online" option. I Robot was one of the first BookCrossing books my husband and I read together.

Hard to say. I like them both equally. They are entirely different. I loved ethan frome because I wanted to read a downer about a man who caused his own misery (much like Jude the Obscure)

Oh dear! I thought I, Robot was making a big comeback - but that was followed by a setback.
There's still enough time, but it's getting harder to see it making up the difference.

If it comes to Ethan winning by a single vote, feel free to cross mine out and consider it a tie.
I don't contribute to the discussions, so probably shouldn't vote, and def don't want to be a spoiler.

Lurkers get to vote. I'm sure there are lurkers voting for I, Robot, too. If you have a preference and will be encouraged to read a book or follow the discussion, why not?

I plan to follow the discussion. Other times I've voted and started to read books but stuff came up and I couldn't find the time to either finish the book or join in the discussion. Since either book will be a re-read for me, it'll be a bit easier in december.

I went for I, Robot. I just can't pass it up. I really like Asimov.

Too bad. I'd read Ethan Frome if it had no words.
