DeskTop 3.1.1 is now available from the normal www.kobosetup.com site.

It has 'Benefit from improved title displays'

The Desktop did not automatically update itself.

What does 'Benefit from improved title displays' mean?

Is this the ability to use series on kepubs? Better handling of book titles? Are they calling the ebooks 'titles', like some people?

Well, I downloaded KD 3.1.0 afresh, and sure enough, CTRL-SHIFT-P toggles use of proxy. Thanks.

Still leaves the question of where one tells Kobo desktop what the protocol, port, and host is.

With this firmware, the first time you put an SD card into the device a prompt comes up saying it will put books on the SD card if there isn't room in the main memory. If also creates a couple of directories for this on the card. I don't have enough kepubs to fill the main memory, so I can't test this.

and YES it DOES have Chess for the KT.

Other than that it looks more or less the same as 2.1.5

I'm waiting for it to be available to downlaod with Wifi, any idea when it will be available?

Do I have to shut down the device before inserting the memory card?
