Apple Loses Pricefixing Lawsuit
I apologize if this has already been reported, but Wed the judge ruled against Apple. Not surprising, as the charge was conspiracy, which was proven, and the defense was "but we had to, to stop Amazon." That is a complete nonsequiter, as the excuse does not disprove the crime.
Haven't had a chance to read the 160 page decision, but it must contain a lot in order to prevent an appeals court from overruling her, as an appeal seems likely.
