Does Kobo Price Match?

Does Kobo price match other ebook sites like Amazon?

For example, Amazon now picks one hundred ebooks every month and drops their price to $3.99 or below. I am looking at this book:

Amazon

Kobo

I've never heard of them price matching.

That particular book is coupon eligible so a coupon code from the Kobo coupon thread could be used to better the price, but the best current codes are for 35% off.

Yes they do, but I think any I have seen have been for specific books. When The Hunger Games movie came out, Kobo had a coupons for books that were 80% or 90% off.

wow! that's huge!

So am I right to say that the usual "standard" discount codes have been for 35% in general, consistent through the year?

In the past year they've had a few 40-50% off codes, but yes generally 35% off is usually the best discount and 25% codes are more common.
