Problems to install Calibre
I am using win7. After installation of Calibre I get the message: "Damaged data bank Creating a library failed" What can I do? Thanks, Dalberto

Wrong subforum. Anyway, are you installing it while logging in as User? If so, log out and log in as Administrator instead and run Calibre or install if it's not installed. Do you still get the error? I've read somewhere that logging in as Administrator solves the issue.

If you can't log in as an administrator (locked down computer), consider running Calibre Portable (no install needed).
Note: I am not advocating violating the PC owners usage policies. You may need to get the OK to run those other programs.
