Only when they get delivered to their tablets

All kidding aside, I think they should be on the decline nowadays, at least in the US. I get the Shape Mag through Zinio, but it has been months since I actually checked it out. However, I know it's in my Zinio account for when I feel like reading it.

Who would ever buy a paper magazine in today's world?

I use RSS quite heavily, and Pulse is what I use for my tablet feed reader - I would have never thought to use it for magazine purposes.

Me too.
My favorite features are the
- vi-like down/up keys ("j" and "k") that move to the next article, and
- do-it-yourself twitter search feeds, like this:
http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q=%23mobileread

which gets you a feed with all the tweets with #mobileread in them (just an example, nobody tweets with that hashtag).

My daughter wants a paper version. I tried out a magazine on my Fire, and I was impressed. I thought she might want all her magaines delivered that way (she is the only person that regularly reads magazines). She said no. She likes to roll up back issues and use them as boot holders.

I get Popular Photography. It's $2 per issue (= $24/year) for my Nook. I found a deal that's $4/year for 3 years for paper delivery. $72 or $12? I guess I don't have money to throw around like some people do...
