Thomas, Dylan: A Child’s Christmas in Wales, v.1, 19 Jan 2008.
There isn’t much Dylan Thomas available, otherwise I would have collected more. I think that I’ve now uploaded all that’s currently legitimately available. This work is in the Canadian public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. It may still be under copyright in some countries. If you live outside Canada, check your country's copyright laws. If the book is under copyright in your country, do not download or redistribute this work.

Thomas died in 1953, so the usual rules suggest his work is copyrighted till 01/01/2024 in the UK (death + 70 yrs). While they're legit on PG's server in Australia, and MR's server in Canada - aren't they off limits to us Brits? There have been other examples of books being uploaded to MR from locations where they were technically still under copyright - does it matter to MR where the texts come from, as long as the texts themselves are ok to be hosted in Canada? |

Yes, they're certainly legitimate in Canada, which has a life plus 50 years rule.
Here's a link: http://www.mobileread.com/copyright.html And there seems to be no legal obligation to hinder people from downloading the works if they live elsewhere. But whether people choose to do so is entirely up to them.
