Remove files from Device?

I just installed the latest release of Calibre that support MTP connected devices. It sees my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with no problem, and once I configured the directory to copy files to it will copy Kindle books to the tablet.

On first use, I answered yes when asked if I wanted to let Calibre manage the device.

I can't figure out how to remove files from the device using Calibre. I removed one file from the device outside of Calibre, but Calibre still thinks it's there.I've shut down Calibre and restarted it, but it still thinks the book is on the tablet.

The book is still in the Calibre library, and I want to leave it there. How can I get Calibre to recognize that book is no longer on the tablet?

I the future, can I use Calibre to remove books from the device, as well as add them? How?

Reboot your device. And if you want to use calibre to delete books on the device, simply click the device icon in calibre, it will show you a list of books on the device. Select the books you want to delete and press delete.
