Calibre 8.6.5 crashing
After updating to version 8.6.5 I go to Preferences->Output Options. When I click on "Output Options" Calibre crashes every time.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Go to preferences->look & feel and change your interface font to something standard like verdana or arial

Thanks. Tried Verdana first with same issue, then switched to Arial and now it works!

Version 0.8.65 crashing on searches
Since I updated to 0.8.65 the program continually crashes when I do searches. Sometimes I can do several searches before this happens; other times the first search brings it on. It happens most often when using the advanced search feature.

You are likely suffering from this issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1016881 for which I can find no fix.

That sounds like the behavior I am seeing. I too am running W7 64bit. I'll try uninstalling the Find Duplicates plugin I have and see if that helps. Plus I will keep looking for updates. Thanks for you help.

I love Calibre, but the last few versions have been very crashtastic for me. I search, it crashes. I update the meta data, it crashes. I try to edit meta data, it crashes. I push a button, it crashes. I convert, it crashes.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do (I don't know what to look for, I'm not that techno). I did change the font face and disabled some plugins to see if that'll help. If it continues, I'm going to uninstall and revert back to an older version that crashed less.

FWIW, this isn't a generic issue. Calibre has never, ever, crashed on my 64-bit Windows 7 system.
