Removing the Kindle

Does anyone know of a safe say to remove the Silver Kindle from the front of the KPW? Some liquid that will allow it to be rubbed off without scarring the plastic? I find the reflective Kindle a bit distracting on occasion and would love to get rid of it.

Why not just cover it with black tape or something like that? That way you won't ruin the resale value of your Kindle.

Pure simple green would do it, however it might start removing the black as well, would have to be careful doing it.

Despite all of the e-readers that I've had I've never resold one. I normally hand them down to family or friends. A piece of tape would be just as intrusive. I may just paint over it with black paint to make it less intrusive.

You could buy a silicone sleeve to cover the Kindle, or a more decorative skin by decalgirl or gelaskin.
