The have different 3G modems. I wonder if the firmware is different. We *might* need different US/EU firmware debricking repair images for debricking purposes, now that we can debrick K3 units from USB only. Using the wrong firmware could possibly make 3G not work (wrong modem), unless a single firmware image supports both modems.
Already, there is some confusion when flashing a K3-wifi with the K3G images (but it seems to work fine, other than showing 3G options in the settings menu). We might need wifi-only firmware too to avoid that confusion.
