IDS username/password problems

Iliad arrived today. Very impressed so far, but am not without some problems..

Trying to connect to IDS. iLiad finds wireless network, connects to IDS server, then fails on username/password incorrect. Have double, treble checked password and username both on iLiad and on myirex - they're right, I'm certain of it.

Networking is OK, DHCP and stuff is working fine, I can sync with my PC, and it's certainly getting onto the internet (I was getting different error messages when it wasn't, for unrelated reasons)

any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. tia.

try to remove the username and pass and connect to ids then. The iLiad should use the standard account then. If that works, The problem should be either with your user/pass combination or with an incomplete registration on the myirex page.

OK, that worked, without username/password.

Although it does raise the question of what to do now.

Ohoho. Hang on. I have two accounts - one at iliadreader.co.uk, and one at irexnet. Two accounts, two usernames - irextech@domain and irexnet@domain. I may have been using the wrong credentials in my "new toy new toy!" excitement last night.

Sorry. User Error. All is well now.
