Best ebook price comparison?

Inkmesh's http://www.inkmesh.com/ results don't often match up with the prices in the stores, are there any better alternatives?

I don't really use inkmesh much for pricing, more for where things are available when my primary source (B&N; I'm a NOOK user) does not have what I'm looking for.

Please give my site http://luzme.com a try!

The main feature people seem to live is the Watchlist feature, where you can save the books you're interested in, along with the stores and countries you care about, and then we'll email you when the prices change.

Rachel

P.S. In the interests of completeness, I guess I should mention that there is a list of other alternatives in the Wiki

A couple of suggestions, Rachel:
- Please add ebooks.com to your search engine; I bought The Labyrinth Makers by Anthony Price from them last night, but your site says it's not available.
- Please at least try to give prices in the enquirer's country of origin currency. Your site says that it's coming on Waterstones, and gives a price in UK pounds, which means that I have to work out how much that is in Australian dollars.

What a great series that is! If this is the first one you're reading, you're in for a real treat...

I'll see what I can do about ebooks.com; last time I looked, their datafeed was unreliable, but they may have improved it.

A good suggestion; I'm just about to start implementing that...

Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated.

Calibre has a "Get Books" feature that will search a bunch of stores for price, availability and DRM status. You can choose from a pretty big list of stores, though I don't know how well suited it is for Sweden.

Hi Rachel, thank you for alerting me to your site, I've now bookmarked and Evernote'd it.

I couldn't see the following sites in your Resources list:

Borders (borders.com.au)

Angus and Robertson (http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/ebooks)

Both these are given by Sony Aus as purchase points because Sony does not have it's own Aus store.

Thanks
Lynx

Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestions. I've added those to the suggestions forum as a new ticket at https://luzme.uservoice.com/admin/fo...s-and-comments. I've recently added Sony UK, and will be looking for other Sony outlets around the world.

If you've got any more suggestions for new stores, either for Australia or any other country, please add them either on that thread if they're Australian, or create a new thread at http://luzme.uservoice.com

thanks
Rachel
