I also received another error prior to that which then rebooted my kindle without me telling it to do so.

Edit: It loaded as far as seeing "mobileread.net" and then crashed again. And when I click menu while it's open, nothing occurs.

Are you using Firmware 5.1.2?

If so, please provide the output of "showlog" and the content of /mnt/us/developer/Collections\ Manager/work/crash.log.

I'm on 5.1.0, and I already removed it. There was a lot of "low memory" logs though, usually around 6-9%. There was another error message in the log, but I can't recall what it was.

Yeah... that happens. It's normally not a tragedy though. Restarting the device fixes it. I'm still not totally sure as to what exactly is causing this, but I tend to believe that it's something on the Kindle itself (rather than my stuff), because the longer you have the Kindle running, the more often this happens.

What about localisation? How is this with this patch to be done?

I'll give it another shot tomorrow and let you know, but I restarted the device several times and it kept occurring.

cant we run the latest 1.1.1 version on 5.1.0.i dont want to update as there are many things that i have that i think wont work on 5.1.2.for eg ixtab fonthack,komic,etc

Wasn't supported previously... Version 1.1.2 now supports localization. See the first post please.

OK. Just for curiosity: how many books do you have on the device? In any case, even in normal operation, the Kindle is always on the edge of running out of memory

And, as a side note: make sure to really reboot (using the option from the settings menu). Just restarting the framework (as JBPatch, FontHack, and other tools allow to do) is faster because it only restarts one program instead of the entire Operating System, but that is not guaranteed to fix memory issues.

Collections Manager 1.1.1 works with Komic 1.7.
