Reset book's numeric field to blank (undefined)?
In the case of a numeric custom column, is there a convenient way to reset the cell to blank (undefined) for one or more books? If I try to delete the contents of the cell, it defaults to a display of zero.
The only solution that I found so far was to copy the selected book(s) into a temp library and delete/reset the entire column (in the temp library) before copying the book back into the main library, but that is awkward and can lead to lost data if I forget to delete the temp library and use it for other processing.

Using either edit metadata/single or on the books spreadsheet: set the value to -999999 (easy way to enter: press the minus key then hold down the 9 key until the field stops changing), then click the small decrement button (the down-pointing arror). The value will change to "undefined".

Perfect. Haunting this board is SO educational. Thank you, Chaley.
