As always, there are lots of new members joining daily.

Sometimes they use the 'introduce me' forum to ask questions about devices, Calibre, etc., because they are NEW.

It would be nice, if instead of simply pointing out their errors, and telling them to post in the proper forum, a friendly 'heads up' and link to the proper forum could be provided.

Most of us are familiar with how this board works, and can easily guide them over to the proper thread.

I try to do that......and it wouldn't hurt anyone to go a little out of their way to help out the newbie.

I"m just sayin'........

Very true. Not only the new members but also the people who have been around for years regularly encounter something new (e.g. some function of the forum-software they didn't know about). So: Asking and giving advice doesn't hurt. Just do it.
