Try the literature Map site here http://www.literature-map.com/

Enter you author's name and hit return. That window closes and a new one opens with you author's name in the center and other authors arrayed around him. The closer to your author they are, the more like him they are.

I tried the map earlier but I wasn't all that impressed with the results...Donna Tart? Hm...I just thought there are other lovers of B.Black here who might have some personal recommendations.
