Problem with Wall Street Journal

Recently I have been experiencing problems downloading the WSJ. I use the script created here and have a paid subscription. This is the error message I get (abbreviated):

Take a look through your Windows Fonts directory and clean it up... Looks like there might be a lot of incorrect files in there.

Thanks for your response, Peter.
I checked my fonts folder and all seems in order as far as I can tell. I have none of the fonts listed in the error message. What is the script doing at this point when it states "FT_Stream_Open: could not open `C:/Windows/fonts/script.fon/..namedfork/rsrc'?" Why would it be trying to open fonts that I do not have?

Have you actually looked in the directory itself, or only in the Control Panel?

Open a command prompt and do a cd c:\windows\fonts and then a dir to see the files there.

I tried your method and Windows Explorer to view the fonts folder and I do not see any of the fonts that the error message tries to open. I can't download any news sources without error messages. I received the following (abbreviated) error message trying to download Google Reader:
Cleaning up manifest...
Trimming unused files from manifest...
Creating AZW Output...
Python function terminated unexpectedly
No module named writer (Error Code: 1)
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "site-packages\calibre\ebooks\conversion\plumber.py", line 1116, in run
File "calibre_plugins.dummy1.__init__", line 241, in convert
ImportError: No module named writer

Maybe I should re-install Calibre?

Would this plugin be in Conversion In, Conversion Out, File Type, or some other category? I have only added plugins to the File Type category a while back and never had problems with downloading news sources. Would the problem plugin be indicated in the error message?

Click the checkbox that say show third part plugins and remove all the plugins you've got. One of your plugins is causing that error.
