POBI???
Recently I switched to the Kindle Touch, dragged again the newspaper files into Calibre, double clicked them but what happened was that Calibre wanted to import the file again. And again and again after every double click. Then I checked the file on the Kindle Touch and discovered that it was a .POBI file—a format I have never heard of, and Calibre neither as it seems. But I did not give up yet and manually renamed the file format to .MOBI. And dragged again. And you won't believe it—it worked! What I want to ask is if you could alter the import function of Calibre so it knows that .POBI is .MOBI. (If it is. The only difference to the .AZW file from the Kindle I could spot was that the .POBI contained colour pictures.) This way users could skip the manual renaming. |

To the best of my recollection .POBI is the KF8 periodicals format, at least I think I read that somewhere.
