It is a drm removal issue. You won't get detailed assistance on MR, as it is against forum rules. People have often found assistance from a fellow named Apprentice Alf. Search is your friend.

Within the Kindle app, click Tools menu, then options, then content to see the folder where books are stored.
However, there is a good chance that the book is encrypted with DRM so it can't be moved to another device.

If you downloaded the file for Kindle for PC and opened it in Kindle for PC and you're using Windows, the file is most likely stored in a folder called My Kindle Content under Documents or My Documents and its name likely starts with B00... or some combination like that. Just import that file to Calibre. (If you have more files there, sort by most recent or something like that.)
Although, yes, as said above, it's probably DRM-protected, in which case Apprentice Alf might indeed be helpful. |

“How to Write the First 3 Paragraphs of YOUR Indie Novel” - by Max Waxwelp 1) Always write 3 sentences of exposition; 2) now create some dialogue, preferably no more than 2 sentences; and 3) make certain the dialogue is either inane or humorous. Example: “Bob, I did not know you wore yellow suspenders,” Sally remarked. “Gee, Sally, those are not suspenders. I am wearing yellow underwear today,” Bob revealed. The dialogue above will help produce at least 100 more pages of dialogue. |
