Apple doesn't live in a bubble. When you bought your iPad, you didn't get a device made by Apple alone, but a device made by Apple, Samsung, Toshiba, Qualcomm, etc.

I see the your point, but I have a broader view of bubbles and dot.com bubbles. That is why I gave Cisco as an example. I actually had some Cisco stock back around 2000. They made products and they made money and in fact still do, but the way the market works is if everyone wants to buy the stock it will go up and up. It is only when people start to sell, that the question of what the company is really worth comes to the fore. Apple has products which are selling and it has a bankroll so it isn't like the really, really bad dot.coms that never had much of anything, but it is similar to Cisco and for a while recently in this country the housing market and some stocks.

There will come a shake out. There always is.

If you wish to see the classic case, look up in Wikipedia the great Tulip debacle and "bubble."
There are many kinds of bubbles. More recently in Ireland and Iceland there were real estate bubbles.

A later name for all this is "irrational exuberance."

RIGHT!! A Christmas gift from one of my sons. The 7 Plus is wonderful and great, so much in fact that my lady friend has virtually taken it over. The only sad thing about my non-Apple "product," is that I don't get to use it very much.

The only point I would make beyond that is that my son paid more than I was expecting to pay for a tablet even though it still cost less than the $499 entry level "current" iPad. So since I didn't have to consider the cost myself, the nicest thing about the 7 Plus is that I am not shackled to the iTunes store.

As the two technology giants sit down for day two of court-moderated settlement talks in San Francisco, Samsung's tablet is facing yet another ban. Apple filed for a preliminary injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 on Friday.
