The "Moving Picture Boys" series was a popular boys' series originally published in the US between 1913 and 1919, using the then new background of "motion picture making" as its backdrop for various exciting adventures. Altogether the series contained 17 books. The author's name, "Victor Appleton" (ostensibly the same author as the "Tom Swift" books) is a "house name" used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate, the publishers of the books. The books were "farmed out" to various actual authors.

This omnibus contains the three books from the series which has currently been released by Project Gutenberg. They are:


The Motion Picture Boys on the Coast

The third book in the series, originally published in 1913, featuring adventure on the Pacific coast.


The Motion Picture Boys In Panama

The seventh book in the series, originally published in 1915, set along the Panama Canal, which was at the time in the process of construction.


The Motion Picture Boys On the War Front

The ninth book in the series, originally published in 1918, set on the Western Front in WWI.


If more more books in the series are released by PG, I'll incorporate them into this omnibus edition, and split it into a number of volumes if required.
