Welcome to MobileRead!
The short answer is not really. The long answer involves the fact that the display is particles that are physically moved around inside little capsules to make the pixels light or dark. The particles are in one location or another regardless, and there's not really anything that influences them to "stick" in any given spot. I'll let you search the forum if you want the really long answer.
