Wink Wired Picks Kobo Touch as the Best eReader

http://www.teleread.com/paul-biba/ko...ired-magazine/

This is gratifying news for those of us who chose the Kobo Touch.

Kindle lovers may cry bias as the comparison Kindle was the non Touch with ads, probably the only new Kindle version available when the research was done, however.

Well, considering the Kindle Touch has been dinged for being sluggish, I doubt that comparing the Kobo Touch to the Kindle Touch (had one been available) would have made a difference.

except decent technical support department

It realyl sucks. Because the Kobo devices, for the cost, availability and features are great!

Nothing beats the Kobo Touch when it comes to formatting options. Also, it's very comfortable to hold without a cover. If it didn't have a problem recognizing endnotes on sideloaded books, I may have kept it. Don't know if this has been corrected. When the customer service noticeably improves, I'll start recommending it again.

Actually they did fix the end note thing Scion. Now you tap them and it brings them up as a little window within the screen that you can read and then close (came with the last patch) I just finished reading a biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and it worked great and was very helpful.

No peter, I had not seen that blog post. I will email him everything that has happened to me.

To be honest I do not expect anything from Kobo anymore. Its sad, Because they really have a competitive product at good prices.. And they were canadian!
