Bluetooth Support & Android 2.3
Greets:
Went down to Chapters today to check out the new Vox. Nice and simple slate with Android 2.3 installed. Was wondering....the micro usb port can be adapted to a standard USB port. I would like to have bluetooth support for various reasons on this device. A bluetooth dongle could be attached to the device. This is possible, and 2.3 supports bluetooth natively. Was wondering if this would work or is the bluetooth stack tied to the firmware. If thats the case, its beyond me...simple things I can do... Any comments or insights /ch |

Should be doable in software, pending how the USB port is hard wired. See
http://quinxy.com/2011/04/01/complet...he-nook-color/ Its my understanding that CM7 can be loaded on the Kobo if not present which I think it is. If correct then a simply usb dongle would open the kobo to talking to a gps taker for example. .... Comments, suggestions, ideas... /ch |
