Economist Recipe Failing...

I have tried both economist recipes, and the "past issue" economist recipe. None seem to work. I am running on a debian server. Error info below.

If someone has a working recipe, would you please post it?

You need python >= 2.7.1

Thank you! Of course you are right. I was using debian 6 with a lesser version. I think I will switch to ubuntu.
