I love the look of this better than anything else coming out right now. SIDE PAGE TURN BUTTONS. I probably don't need all the extra functionality, but if this is priced alright (I'm willing to pay somewhat of a premium over the ~140-150 price for Kindle 4 Touch and T1) and can be obtained in the US somehow (even by ordering from Europe), I'll probably pick one up if reviews are good.

ETA: the more I look at the specs and the picture the more I want it. although I hope the orientation can be locked. Nothing irks me more than the accelerometer on my iphone if it's not locked and i'm lying on my side trying to read/browse the net. I hope the release date will be posted soon and it lives up to my expectations.

Opus and orizon can deactivate the accelerometer. I fail to see why bookeen would remove such a useful function on the odyssey.

Good to know. TBH I don't know much about the other Cybook e-readers. I only started visiting this forum for the first time in years when I decided it was time to upgrade my PRS-505. Unfortunately, none of the new Kindles or the Sony T1 are what I am looking for. The Cybook looks like it may be!

Also am I the only one who noticed that the odyssey does not have blue tooth? I wonder if bookeen will ever release the update to give blue tooth to the orizon.

There blog says it will have "highlights/dictionary (French version)". Seeming to say that the English version won't.
