Problem using EZ PDF Viewer

I downloaded the app EZ PDF Viewer for my NookColor, and I've been using it to read a book which was supplied to me in pdf form. The default reader is quite limited, e,g., it is not particularly easy to turn pages. The app is much easier to use.

I have figured out the basics, but there is a lot I don't understand about how to use it. I wonder if there is some sort of manual (in English). I haven't found the publisher's web page particularly helpful.

In particular, I seem to have accidentally 'struck out' a word in the document. There is a line through the word and it seems to be in a small box. I would like to undo that. The same strikeout appears when I view the document with the default reader supplied on the NookColor. But it doesn't appear when I view the original document on my computer using Adobe Reader.

Does anyone have any advice about how to fix this problem or where to look for a solution?
